Fergie time is back? Maybe ‘yes’, as it has been revealed that the Old Trafford legend has been consulted by the current Manchester United manager and former rival Jose mourinho over the £100million world record deal to sign Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho has met with Ferguson to seek his approval of the transfer deal. The two have met Manchester United’s training ground.
Sir Alex Ferguson has also spent some time to mingle with the squad for the first time since he retired from his role as manager three years ago.
Mourinho has identified Ferguson as part of his Man United revamp strategist and it is believed that Ferguson has accepted the role.
The Pogba transfer has yet to be confirmed as discussions still underway between the parties involved while Pogba is still in US for his holiday.
Rumors have been circulated that the deal has long been struck between the clubs as United have already settle personal terms of around £290,000 a week with Pogba although his medical in Los Angeles is yet to be confirmed.
Ferguson allowed Pogba to leave United for free in 2012 and there were speculation that the duo had fallen apart but with this development it seems everything has been settled.
